Shows February 2019

On 1-2-2019 were 21 Bearded Collies registered in Eindhoven / NL for judge Mrs. P. Runderkamp / NL. There was a real big Entry for this judge. Monika Fuss was in the Open Class with “Firstprizebears Pikes Peak” and Xavier Pottiez with Ch. “Firstprizebears Percy Sledge” in the Champion Class. Both males won their classes. But “Pikes Peak” was ahead and became Best Male and “Percy Sledge” Res-Best Male. Until then, our world was still alright.

Of course, for all of us on the ringside , it was clear that Pikes Peak had to become best of the breed. He is beautiful and always has great chances to be placed in the main ring. The judge thought differently about this and gave it to the bitch from the intermediate class “Bono’s watchfull eye Call me Lou Lou. Inge Floryn was of course overjoyed and the most happy person on this day .

16-2-2019 Special Show British Sheepdogs  in Buchholz in the Nordheide / GER. Judge was Milan Krinke / CZ.  28 Beardies were shown  and it was a Victory for the “Firstprizebears” The best female from the intermediate class was the 15 month old “Firstprizebears Q’Kim Kardashian” (Ch. Beardmarked Sigt for Sore Eyes x Ch. Firstprizebears Merly Streep) Best of breed was her litter brother “Firstprizebears Q’Brad Pitt” Family Daniela Hellwig and her husband are the proud owners of these 2 magnificent beardies. They showed  their 3rd  young Firstprizebear Beardie for the first time  that day. jJust 14 months old “Firstprizebears Q’Butterfly Mc Queen” she was Excellent 2 in Junior Class

Mrs. Cocozza was also in the intermediate class with “Firstprizebears Q’Walnutcreek” and won Excellent 3. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of “Ella”

In England Sue Jones had her first 2 exhibitions with her “Firstprizebars Rio Grande“. “Lola” was born in August by “Liz Taylor” and “Lasse”. On February 17, she won the Minor Puppy class on the Midshire Bearded Collie Show, Judge Jo Smith / GB and on 23.2. on the open show of the Bearded Collie Club in Smethwid as well. What a successful start in her homeland
