Exhibitions in March 2023

There is little left to report from our Bearded Collies that are in the show ring. Since we are no longer breeding this breed, no more new dogs are in the show ring.

However, the few that are still on shown still do us credit.

Monika Fuss was with her “Pike” at the Int-Show in Weelde/Belgium on March 19th, 2023. There the well-known Norwegian Allrounder , Mr. L.J. Hjorth was the judge.  I think there were 12 Bearded Collies registered.

Multi Ch.” Firstprizebears Pikes Peak” was Best of Breed

In group 1 he had no chance. This was judged by Mr. Dirk Spruyt from Belgium. He doesn’t like my dogs and neither me, I don’t know why.

On March 10th, 2023 the famous Crufts exhibition took place in Birmingham/GB. 240 Bearded Collies were entered. 2 of them from our breeding. Althea Richardson showed  in the Postgruadet Class with “Firstprizebears San Francisco”. They achieved a wonderful 3rd place

Justina Masiule came from Ireland with her successful Ch. “Firstprizebears Tina Turner”. The two were in the open class with 28 bitches. Unfortunately there was no placement for the two. At the end of the day a veteran male and the veteran female became best.
